Pakistan vs India 1st ODI

The first ODI between Pakistan and India will be played on sunday at 8:30 a.m (PST). The Pakistan cricket board officials said on Saturday that left arm pacer Mohammad Irfan and experienced allrounder Shoaib malik would remain in India with the national squad for the three-match One-day series, beginning in Chennai on Sunday.The PCB announced in a statement that the national selection committee had accepted a request from the tour management to retain Malik and Irfan in the One-day squad.Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, however, could not manage to win the confidence of the team management and will return home along with those players who were only selected for the T20 series.

Tony Greig dies

Former England cricket captain Tony Greig has died in Sydney after suffering a heart attack, according to Australian broadcaster Nine Network.

He was born in SouthAfrica, 66 years old Tony Greig had been diagnosed with lung cancer two months ago.
The all-rounder played 58 Tests for England from 1972-1977. He later became a popular commentator and had worked for Nine Network.
The broadcaster reported that Greig died at about 13:45 local time on Saturday, after being rushed from his home to Sydney's St Vincent's Hospital earlier in the day.
He is quoted as having told Channel Nine colleagues last month: "It's not good. The truth is I've got lung cancer. Now it's a case of what they can do."
He underwent an operation later in November.

India Levels T20 Series

India beat Pakistan by 11 runs as Yuvraj Singh hits 72 and takes a wicket. Pakistan Cricket team's captain Hafeez won the toss and elected to ball first. The start from Pakistani opening bowlers was not good thats why indian batsman build a massive score of 192 runs on scoreboard.Yuvraj played a vital role in the victory of india.This was the first time Yuvraj played in Ahmedabad in coloured clothing since his World Cup 2011 quarterfinal. 
Pakistan started their chase with confidence as openers Jamshed and Ahmed Shehzad added a stand of 74 that was ended when the former was removed by Ravichandran Ashwin.
Shehzad followed, stumped off the spin of Yuvraj, but Hafeez altered the momentum, striking two sixes off successive Ashwin deliveries.
However, paceman Dinda made a decisive intervention late in the innings, accounting for Hafeez and both Kamran and Umar Akmal to ensure Pakistan fell short. In the end Pakistan managed only 181 for seven. Man of the match award goes to Yuvraj and Man of the series goes to Hafeez.
A three-match one-day international series begins in Chennai on Sunday.

Pakistan's maiden T20 Victory over india

The Game of nerves ends with the great victory of Green shirts over Blue shirts.
Chinnaswamy Stadium was full of indian crowds., the first T20 starts with the toss won by Pakistan's captain Hafeez and elected to ball first. Pakistan starts with the 7 ft  tall man Irfan, this was his debut, Pakistan good balling attack restricts indian team to the total of 133 runs in 20 overs .
In response Pakistan starts their innings in pressure and lose 3 early wickets. An early burst from debutant Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who began his international career with a fabulous display of swing bowling, rattled the Pakistan top order but the calm presence of Mohammad Hafeez and some enterprising batting from Shoaib Malik put a chase of 134 back on track.
A 36,000-strong crowd had been silenced when Malik hit a straight six .Malik played a remakable innings and score 57 runs in 50 balls . Mohammad Hafeez scored 61 runs in just 44 balls and became Man of the Match. The second and last T20 will be played at Ahmedabad Dec 28.Changes are expected in indian cricket team in the second T20 and Pakistan team will go with the same winning combination.

Clarke confident of playing

Australian captain Michael Clarke completed a light training session on Christmas Day.
Clarke injured his right hamstring in the first Test in Hobart last week and has been racing the clock to be fit to lead his side into a potential series-clinching victory.
In the team's final training session, he completed a variety of running drills under the watchful eye of team physio Alex Kountouris.The 31-year-old remained optimistic of taking to the field on Wednesday. 
Clarke said he will only play if he is confident the injury won't affect his batting and reiterated that whatever decision is made will be done for the benefit of the team. While on the other hand Srilankan tiger hopes are alive to comeback and level the series.
The second test between Australia and Srilanka is on 26 December.

India beats Pakistan

Doha: A match between India and Pakistan was played at Al-Rayyan Stadium, Doha on Monday.
Rupinderpal Singh of India has scored the first goal of the match in the 36th minute. India lead 1-0.
India scored their second goal in the 51st minute. Pakistan are still struggling to get off the mark as score is 2-0.
Pakistan scored their first goal on penalty corner.But in the end India beat Pakistan 2-1.
A total of seven penalty corners were given in the match: three to Pakistan and four to India.
India are still unbeaten throughout the tournament. They beat China 4-0 in their first match of the tournament. They beat Japan 3-1 in their second match before giving a 11-0 humiliating defeat to minnows Oman yesterday.India will play their next match on Wednesday 26,Dec with Malaysia
For Pakistan, it was their first loss of the event as they have beaten Oman 8-3 in their first match and China 5-2 in the second. They were held to a 3-3 draw by Malaysia yesterday.Pakistan will play their next match on Wednesday 26,Dec with Japan.

After a long break this is Pakistan's first cricket tour of India in five years.The high profile tour kicks off with a Twenty20 international in Bangalore on 25 of December on Christmas Day.
It is the first time Pakistan has visited India for a series of matches since the 2008 Mumbai attacks which led to a breakdown in diplomatic relations between the two sub-continent nations.Over 3,000 Pakistan fans are expected to visit India for this historic series.
The first batch of T20 squad led by Pakistan’s Twenty20 captain Mohammad Hafeez, although the number "10" Shahid khan Afridi was not selected for the T20's Pakistan's Captain is hoping to win and white wash the series.
